Angel Pantoja is a California native raised in Chicago's Gage Park neighborhood. An upcoming Spoken Word Poet , Activist, & Community Organizer. As a member of Elephant Rebellion he works in collaboration with family to better the Uptown community.

     Having gone through the Juvenile Criminal Justice System at a young age, Angel advocates for the reform of our Justice Systems and works to better the conditions of youth in detention through advocacy with the Annie E. Casey Foundation. He currently serves an Americorps Member serving with Public Allies Chicago. He is Partnered with Enlace Chicago as Youth Leadership Coordinator and Community Organizer working to better the organizations relations with Little Village youth. 

     Angel claims himself a student of life and seeks to coexist.
